Dwie uczelnie Wyższej Szkoły Bankowej Toruniu i Bydgoszczy otrzymały nowe profesjonalne skanery planetarne ElarScan A2-600R. Rozpoczęła się digitalizacja zasobów bibliotecznych, których wielkość przekracza 50 000 sztuk. Skanery planetarne wykorzystywane będą głównie przez studentów uczelni, którzy dzięki nim będą mogli sięgnąć do źródeł wielu dostępnych materiałów z zasobów biblioteki w formie cyfrowej wybierając dla siebie najbardziej interesującą treść.

In the center of Tashkent N-COM CENTRAL ASIA opened a showroom where a new model of the universal planetary scanner ElarScan A2-400 is showcased. The company provided the first demonstrations of the latest equipment and a series of seminars and presentations for organizations and enterprises in Central Asia are being prepared.

Skanery książek ElarScan zostały zaprezentowane podczas 25-lecia konferencji włoskiego stowarzyszenia bibliotek „Convegno delle Stelline”. Pandemia niemal doprowadziła do odwołania Konferencji i tradycyjnej wystawy „Bibliostar”, ale organizatorom udało się zorganizować forum we wrześniu tego roku, zachowując przy tym bezpośredni format i bogaty program wydarzeń cyfrowych. W sierpniu 2020 roku dwa znane ośrodki kulturalne Republiki Czeskiej pracę - Politechnika Czeska w Pradze i stary klasztor w Strahowie otrzymały profesjonalne skanery planetarne ElarScan A2-KS, które rozpoczęły swoją. Nowe skanery służą do digitalizacji zbiorów dokumentów historycznych, rzadkich i cennych artefaktów. Pierwsze projekty digitalizacji zostaną zakończone do końca tego roku.
