ElarScan book scanners - in universities of Kazakhstan

ELAR Corp. continues to equip universities of Kazakhstan with modern digitizing instruments. New ElarSCAN A2 scanners delivered to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University.

Libraries of Kazakh universities are modern information centers that provide professionals, students and the scientific community with access to their rich collections. Libraries develop and improve modern technologies: readers use both electronic catalogues and digitized editions. In particular, at the library of East Kazakhstan State University n.a. Sarsen Amanzholov 10,000 periodicals in electronic form and more than 18,000 full-text books are available for users. There are rare books and manuscripts at university libraries that need to be scanned in order to preserve them. For digitization of collections at universities of the Republic, the scanners produced by ELAR Corp. will be used.
