ElarScan in Vietnam: Da Nang University digitizes library
Specialists from the leading Vietnam’s university have begun digitizing publications and replenishing the electronic library with the universal planetary scanner ElarScan A2-400KS
The University of Da Nang (University of Education) is one of the TOP-50 higher education institutions of Southeast Asia and one of the largest universities in Vietnam. The fund of his library has 120 thousand volumes, which will be available to students in digital.
Digitization of publications is carried out using ElarScan A2-400KS, the model is equipped with a flat flip-up flattening glass, provides online image pre-processing by instant LifeView for FreeFrame to scan 20 fragments at once, for auto-format, multi-masking, page splitting, cropping and other operations.
"The staff of the university quickly mastered the new scanner, work is being successfully carried out on the digitization of literature. We are confident that the use of ElarScans will develop successfully," - says Mr Tran Tien Minh, director of MDATA, a company that provides sales and technical support for scanners in Vietnam.
The University of Da Nang appeared 25 years ago in Da Nang in a modern, rapidly developing city, one of the largest regional centers in the country.
The establishment has become one of the national key Pedagogical Universities as well as a center for scientific research, education and technology application to serve the requirements of socio-economic development of the central provinces and cities - the Central Highlands in particular and the whole country in general.
